Decants are small samples of original fragrances, transferred directly from the manufacturer's bottle into a hermetic atomiser. They are 100% authentic and available in three sizes:

• 3 ml — For a first impression: 4–5 applications
• 5 ml — For use over several days: 8–10 applications
• 10 ml — To evaluate the fragrance in depth: 15–20 applications

They are the ideal option to try a fragrance on your skin before investing in the full bottle.

The concentration of perfume oil determines the intensity and longevity of the fragrance:

• Parfum (Extrait) — 20–40% oil · Duration: 12–24 h · The most intense and long-lasting concentration
• Eau de Parfum (EDP) — 15–20% · Duration: 6–12 h · The most popular choice in fine perfumery
• Eau de Toilette (EDT) — 5–15% · Duration: 3–6 h · Light and fresh, ideal for daily wear

In Arabic perfumery, pure perfume oil (attar) is also very common, particularly in halal fragrances, whose concentration and projection surpasses any conventional format.

Oud — also known as agarwood — is the most precious ingredient in Arabic perfumery and one of the most costly natural materials in the world. It is obtained from the resin secreted by the Aquilaria tree when infected by a specific fungus, a process that can take decades.

The main origins and their olfactory profiles:

• Cambodian — Sweet, smooth, slightly fruity
• Indian — Intense, earthy, animalic and deep
• Bangladeshi — Medicinal, resinous, with green notes
• Thai — Floral, clean, more accessible character

At Oudara Parfums you'll find fragrances with natural oud and high-quality compositions that capture the essence of this legendary ingredient.
